Pope Ben's Christmas wishes

Once again Pope Ben, like all of his predecessor for the last 100 years or more, prays to God for peace on earth next year. Commendable. But given that these prayers have been demonstrably unanswered at all times, is there any chance the penny will drop? Like, maybe God doesn't want peace on earth?

Either way, it looks like a waste of breath to me.

However, he was smack on in saying that same-sex marriages were the 'single greatest threat to world peace'. I know for a fact that this is true. All the dykes and woofters, after they return from honeymoon, immediately start building up a massive arsenal for eventual world domination.

I'm serious.

Ambassador's residence overrun in South Africa

As every schoolboy knows, foreign embassies legally represents 'part of the home country' even though located in another jurisdiction. As such they are afforded enormous protection by the host country as an attack on the embassy is legally an attack on the country itself.

All the more surprising then when we learn from South Africa's News 24 that Tanzania's ambassador to South Africa was beaten unconscious and several of his guests were assaulted and robbed at his farewell dinner in Pretoria last night. About five armed men simply pushed aside the barbed wire and jumped over the wall of a diplomatic residence.

"There were about 25 of us and we had just had supper. They ordered us to lie down, tied our hands, robbed us of cellphones, money and household goods," said an embassy official. The High Commissioner was beaten unconscious and his wife stabbed in the head. "Quite a few people were assaulted, hit with bottles. They kept threatening my 15-year-old daughter with rape." Apparently the ambassador had told the thieves: "Gentlemen, God bless you". Mmmm..... that didnt seem to do much good, did it?

Underlining the collapse of the South African police, there were none guarding the embassy, and it took nearly half an hour for them to arrive. "They [the police] kept asking us questions that delayed [them] while these guys were getting away." Incredible. But then again not. Black empowerment means that the police force now reflects the country's ethnic diversity. In other words it's a crock of shit.

My original forecast of Zimbabwe equivalent by 2017 looks waaaaay too optimistic.

Irish education meltdown

Met a few primary and secondary teachers from the Cork area over the holiday period. They say primary is going to hell in a handcart, while in a few years secondary will follow ineluctably.

Despite the high esteem in which we hold our educational system, in fact it's been plagued for lack of resources all along. This shows up especially in the sciences, where tools and laboratories are inadequate and in short supply. And we all know (see this) that this is where our future success as a nation depends.

What's the problem? Immigration.

Not only are numbers spiralling, but, far worse, schools are having to deal with a myriad of different languages. This is not only expensive (UK research indicates that it costs up to five times more to educate a student in a different language) but self-evidently, standards are going to plummet as well.

Some schools around Cork have up to 20 languages to contend with. They have neither the space nor the capabilities to deal with this. My friends tell me the whole thing is out of control. Other parts of the country (see this and this) are clearly worse.

Muslim 'faith schools' ( is faith school an oxymoron?) and high ratio black schools present a related but different problem. The former because they'll emphasise religious mumbo jumbo and learning by rote, the latter, low academic achievement due to lower average IQ levels.

Either way, we'll see an exact repetition of the disaster in England. Better off white parents will move their children out to better schools, while the rest will become sink-holes, producing a whole generation of ill-trained social misfits and jail-bait.

We've seen it all happen elsewhere. Our leaders have seen it happen elsewhere. And they continue to let it happen here.

Battle for God market heats up

The battle for the God market (see this also) heats up as the Catholic Church gingerly migrates from dhimmi status. This has become particularly noticeable since Pope ‘Ben’ became CEO (his experience in the Hitler Youth must have shown him how malevolent ideologies can easily gain sway over a lobotomized public).

Cardinal Karl Lehmann, head of the German bishops' conference, has demanded that “if Muslims can built mosques in Europe, I should be able to hold a mass in Saudi Arabia.”

Some chance. For instance Saudi Airlines helpfully points out to intending visitors that “items and articles belonging to religions other than Islam are prohibited. These may include Bibles, crucifixes, statues, carvings, items with religious symbols such as the Star of David, and others”.

You literally risk your life if you’re too Christian in that hell-hole. As for being Jewish…..

"There's an upheaval in the church's attitude," Dominique Quinio, Editor of France Catholic newspaper La Croix. "Traditionally, the church minimized Christians' difficulties in the Middle East. Some of that had to do with solidarity with the Palestinians, and partly with old notions that keeping quiet left the Christian presence intact.” But with the already small Christian population in Islamic countries already in freefall, the Vatican is fighting back.

All this is good news if it translates into greater awareness of the threat from The Beast, and makes Muslim immigration to the West less attractive. One particularly positive observation was made by Vatican Customer Relations Manager Archbishop Giovanni Lajolo, who noted "we know very well that radical Islam exploits anything that it interprets as a sign of weakness”.

Well done! Is reality dawning?

No terrorism then?

I wouldn’t normally attribute much value to what Islamic spokesmen Sheik Yasser Hamad and Ahmed Abu Halbiyeh come out with. This could be something to do with the fact that they’re treacherous malevolent barbarian fuckwits.

However, they’ve been spot on with their prognosis for Islam in the UK. Aaron Klein at WorldNetDaily.com quotes them, based on Mohammed being the second most popular name in the UK: " it proves Islam is becoming the majority in the UK and will one day enter every house in Europe. We see from this that Islam is on the rise and cannot be stopped no matter what your crusader governments do"

Indeed - also see this.

"In Europe there is no need for war because if people keep on joining Islam in these countries then Islam will become the majority, which I think is the process that is taking place now, so there will not be any necessity to have war with [non-Muslims]"

Phew! That's a relief.

Lego Stephen Hawking

Who said....?

It was about who really runs the schools in this country, and about how far militant Islam could go in bullying the poor, cowed, gelatinous and mentally spongiform apparatus of the British state.

From Hirsi Ali

Your Savant has always pointed out that Somalis (apart from Roma) are the worst possible immigrants. This is from Hirsi Ali, a fully-recovered Muslim from Somalia.

"As a child I was taught to suspect the stranger, to assume anybody will attack you, to fight for yourself since nobody else will, to support your own clan above anybody else's and see the others as the enemy. These are needed skills in Somali society."

Indeed, and these are the skills that we're importing along with the tens of thousands of Somalis we've allowed in here.

( Incidentally, Hirsi Ali was forced to flee Holland for her own safety, her life being under threat after she chucked in the Religion of Peace).

Who said....?

South Africa death spiral gathers momentum

If Thabo Mbeki represented a cataclysmic decline on god-like Mandela, his defeat by Jacob Zuma represents an even greater one. This functionally illiterate scoundrel, mired in corruption and violence, is a picture boy of your typical African despot-in-waiting.

This once great country now has a President who thinks there is no causal relationship between AIDS and HIV, a Health Minister who thinks AIDS can be cured by beetroot, a university Chancellor who smears himself with lion fat every morning to smite his enemies (see this), and now an ANC leader (i.e. next President of the Republic) who thinks it’s adequate protection to have a shower after unprotected sex (rape?) with an HIV-positive women.

Upon his recent election the first thing he called for was a rollicking version of the old favourite “Umshini Wami”. This apparently means "bring me my machine gun", upon which, I imagine, there was a major stampede of Mbeki’s voters for the door. Zuma also likes the death penalty – which should be an invaluable tool for any intending President-for-life.

FIFA should be looking around very carefully at alternatives for the 2010 World Cup.

A US cop's tale

The following from a US policeman who spent six years in Washington DC.

"I don’t think whites realize what is out there, how bad things are. If you live in Washington, DC, and work, say, on K Street or Connecticut Avenue, you see well-dressed and courteous blacks who are pretty much like everybody else. Much more resentment lies under the surface than you probably believe, but they certainly aren’t going to attack anyone. They are not a problem.

But go into the realms of the underclass, the great sprawling necrotic Sowetos of any big American city. Better yet, don’t go. You wouldn’t last ten minutes on foot at night. Few whites really know that these places exist, and they never see them. Cabs will refuse to take you. For some half-dozen years when I was on the police beat I did see the bad neighborhoods. God help us.

These ’hoods are utterly black, with whipcord young males leaning against lamp posts and eyeing cops with hostility. The people in them have no identity other than black. They aren’t African and aren’t American. They don’t read and many can’t. The schools are just holding cages. They’ve got nothing and they’re going nowhere and they know it. The great white beyond out there, with its computers and universities and those rich white people with their jobs and books and understanding of mysterious things like international politics—they have no access to these".

Now bear this in mind. This is what happens everywhere - and I defy anyone to name some place where this doesn't happen - where the black population reaches significant levels. No amount of affirmative action, quotas, grants, busing, preferential employment, race legislation have even made a dent on this condition. And it never will, for reasons covered elsewhere in this blog (here and here for example).

It happens everywhere.

Now, as we celebrate diversity in Ireland and the rest of Europe, we already have schools here that are almost totally black. As these 'happy little learners' grow up they will become like those youths described by the ex-cop. And their neighbourhoods, already afflicted by white flight in this country, will also become like their 'hoods.

Because again, everywhere, whites move out when blacks move in. And they do it because they know what the neighbourhoods will become when they become predominantly black.

It's totally scary that this is already happening here after less than ten years of mass immigration . We already have all-black primary schools and whites fleeing certain neighbourhoods.

But wait, Conor Lenihan assures us that we won't make the mistakes that other countries made. Yeah. Right. We make a success of everything here, don't we? Like Luas, the health 'service', national infrastructure. The clowns who gave you these fiascos are going to magically resolve a problem that has defied half the civilised world for centuries.

We need a brilliant manager, original thinker, with a first-class track record. Martin Cullen - the very man! (Check out my interview with him a few months back)

I know I've said this a hundred times already. But isn't it breathtaking how a country will blindly and unnecessarily let itself be destroyed?

Sept. 10, 2001

From “The Future Belongs to Islam,” published by Maclean’s Magazine on October 20, 2006:

Sept. 11, 2001, was not “the day everything changed,” but the day that revealed how much had already changed. On Sept. 10, how many journalists had the Council of American-Islamic Relations or the Canadian Islamic Congress or the Muslim Council of Britain in their Rolodexes?

If you’d said that whether something does or does not cause offence to Muslims would be the early 21st century’s principal political dynamic in Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom, most folks would have thought you were crazy. Yet on that Tuesday morning the top of the iceberg bobbed up and toppled the Twin Towers.

This is Islam, folks

Take a look at this. He’s forty, she’s eleven. And they are a couple – the Afghan man Mohammed Faiz and the child Ghulam H.*. “We needed the money”, Ghulam’s parents said. Faiz claims he is going to send her to school. But the women of Damarda village in Afghanistan’s Ghor province know better: “Our men don’t want educated women.” They predict that Ghulam will be married within a few weeks after her engagement in 2006, so as to bear children for Faiz.

Should we be surprised? Not in the least. Afghanistan is generally accepted as being the country closest to the earthly paradise created by the "Prophet" (peace be upon the fucker). And the "Prophet" got the hots for Aisha when she was only six years old. Naturally enough her parents weren't too happy about a six-year old marrying a man of fifty, who had several more wives and dozens of children.

However, the Prophet came up with the clincher. Allah had appeared to him and told him that they must marry. Well, faced with a direct Divine intervention, what could the parents do? In fairness, Mohammed didn't consummate the 'marriage' straight away. He waited till she was nine and had had her first menstrual cycle. He then said it was OK for anyone else to do it as well. What a great spiritual leader.

So to this day such paedophilia is rampant - if I might use that expression - throughout the Islamic world. In an Egyptian survey, about one-third of the interviewed child brides stated that they were beaten by their husbands. The young brides are under pressure to prove their fertility as soon as possible. But the risk for girls between the ages of 10 and 14 not to survive pregnancy is five times higher than for adult women. Every year, about 150,000 pregnant teenagers die due to complications – in particular due to a lack of medical care, let alone sex education.

We should not be surprised at anything that emanates from the Religion of Peace. But we should be surprised that this photo, by American photo-journalist Stephanie Sinclair, won the UNICEF Award for 2007. Now how did a UN body manage to do something that might offend Islam? Amazing.

As Islam grows by leaps and bounds in Ireland - to general acclaim from the deaf, blind and brain-deal Immigration Industry (and Conor Lenihan) - prepare to lock up your young daughters.

The strange case of Dr. Sookdheo

Dr Patrick Sookhdeo leads an interesting life. Having left the Religion of Peace (he’s now a Christian) he presumably spends his time looking over his shoulder and dodging from door to door as he makes his way. But Patrick has an impressive track record. Many years ago well before the ‘liberation’ of Iraq, well before multi-culturalism had been discredited, he forecast that Britain would be the victim of Islamic suicide attacks. As you can imagine, he was laughed out of court.

Until the bombs started going off.

Now he’s made another forecast. "In a decade, you will see parts of English cities which are controlled by Muslim clerics and which follow, not the common law, but Sharia. It is already starting to happen - and unless the Government changes the way it treats the so-called leaders of the Islamic community, it will continue."

This is of course exactly what the Islamic Council of Europe has ordered (see this).

No surprise there really, as the process is well underway. What’s more interesting is his views on the so-called moderate Islamic leaders. Referring to the cartoon controversy of last year he say "the cartoons have not been published in this country, and the Government has been very critical of those countries in which they were published. To many of the Islamic clerics, that's a clear victory."

"It's confirmation of what they believe to be a familiar pattern: if spokesmen for British Muslims threaten what they call 'adverse consequences' - violence to the rest of us - then the British Government will cave in. I think it is a very dangerous precedent."

Bang on the button. What happens in effect is that the ‘moderates’ tell us ‘we’re against violence, but we can't be responsible for what an unrepresentative element does. Therefore, cave in to our demands

That's what dhimmi Britain has done and continues to do. The Danes are about the only ones to get a handle of this so far.

How best to handle the Islamic challenge?

It seems to me that two schools of thought are emerging around this issue. Three if you count the Total Surrender option, which says that we take a supine position, allow them impose their will and have their way in all ‘trivial’ matters such as wearing hijabs in school, taking food off the menu during Ramadan etc.

Let’s call this the Swedish Option, and its rationale, god help us, is that if we keep giving in they’ll be happy and settle down beside us and we all live as happy neighbours for ever more. Believe it or not, a Swedish Minister (must locate a link) has said in effect that ‘if we’re nice to them now they’ll be nice to us when they’re in the majority’. This is stunning in that he assumes and accepts that Swedes will end up a minority in their own country. (Question: Is this treason?).

But as I said there seems to be two main Options. Let’s call the first the US Option. This is the Swedish Option but with a very string security dimension added. In effect this says that you can do all the Swedish Option bits, but we’re going to come down really hard on anyone flirting with terrorism, even if it only involves supporting questionable charities. Various civil liberties have been curtailed under this approach.

The third we might call the Danish (“When Hippies Go Bad”) Option. There’s an old aphorism that says a conservative is a liberal who’s been mugged. In many ways the Danes are Swedes who’ve been mugged – but, unlike the Swedes, they know it. Danes are now the New Realists. Accordingly they have aggressively fought back on the trivial bits (see this post), and are also much heavier now on security – in a very un-Danish way.

So which is better? My view is the US approach is probably ok for that country. Muslims are a tiny minority there and most seem to have left their cultural baggage behind – I think! Europe is obviously quite different. We have an exploding Islamic population, under instructions from the Islamic Council of Europe (see this). As you can see from this post, the ICE has issued very clear takeover instructions, and the Danes now realise this. The takeover involves gradually and continually pushing the envelop so that you create mini (and not so mini) Islamic republics throughout the country. England is full of these, as are France, Holland and Sweden.

So for Europe, my view is clear. Fight them at every turn. Refuse planning for mosques, no special treatment at all – drink is served if WE want to serve it, if you want to work in a store you handle all produce, if you drive a taxi you take people carrying drink – the list is endless.

Will this make Muslims resentful? You bet. But do you seriously think they’re not resentful at the moment? What this method will do is force the issue into the open. Muslims will be given the same option we’d be given in a Muslim country. Conform or ship out. Faced with this they might begin to appreciate the benefits of living in the West, and give up on the takeover.

UK pays illegals to leave

The Tory Party and press are angry that thousands of failed asylum seekers have been flown out of Britain and set up in business back home in a £36 million taxpayer-funded scheme.

"These unwanted foreigners", fumes the Telegraph, "who had no legal right to remain, were given free flights, handed £1,000 in cash at the airport, then paid a further £3,000 to start enterprises in their homelands. More than 23,000 migrants have taken advantage of the scheme."

Ministers say that paying failed asylum seekers to leave is cheaper than forcibly deporting them, saving money for taxpayers. However, the Tories last night condemned the payouts as "bribes".

Well maybe they are, but let's 's consider a few salient factors. First, we, and the rest of Europe, are totally unable to deport illegals. Witness the fiasco last week when a plane due to deport over 300 Nigerians flew away with only nine on board.

Jesus H. Christ. Did they really expect all 300 to show up because they were politely asked? Are these people even more incompetent than we've given them credit for? The Immigration Industry (making the case against deportation), estimates that the average cost per deportee is about €40,000.

Bear in mind too that about 25% of our prison population is made up of non-nationals, and that it costs about €100k. p.a. to keep a prisoner incarcerated for a year.

So, while it reflects jaw-dropping incompetence and encourages illegal immigration, it's very cheap at the price to give these people the opportunity to flourish back home.

If we paid every unsuitable immigrant €50,000 each to go it'd the best money we'd ever spent.

Patriotic duty

Who said...?
.
"The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities."
.
A: Theodore Roosevelt

Denmark gets tough

Unlike their near neighbours in Sweden, the Danes, mainly after the Mohammed cartoon imbroglio, have begun to take a much tougher approach to allowing in incompatible immigrants. They've also clamped down on bogus marriages and other asylum scams.

Would-be immigrants must demonstrate ability in Danish and the capacity to integrate. To which I say, what took you so long? Most Danes now freely admit that they have a major Muslim problem on their hands and don't want it to get any worse.

This has been taken to new lengths recently whereby Muslim children at some schools are 'forced' to attend traditional Christmas festivities. This is justified by the law which requires immigrant children to get familiar with Danish culture and history. Christmas church ceremonies are an ideal mechanism for this. It's also justified on the basis that the schools don't have space or resources to enable children to opt out if they want.

mmmm......

Not too sure about this. I'm always uneasy forcing anyone to do anything. And this is certainly a massive change for Denmark. But on balance I think it's worth it. Europe faces an existential threat from Islam and, although it's a risky thing, some liberal refinements may have to be deferred until the problem gets resolved.

Underlying this measure is what I believe to be an essential message to Muslims. "If we allow you in, you abide by our rules, traditions and practices. Despite your instructions from the Islamic Council of Europe (see this) we won't allow you to form mini Islamic republics on our territory. If you don't like this, go to some Islamic paradise like Sudan or Afghanistan."

I believe this will help force the issue into the open. So well on ya, Denmark!

Imam Halawa in religious tolerance shock

Imam Hussein Halawa of the Saudi-financed mosque in Clonskeagh in Dublin is full of surprises. He thinks the banning of the Christmas crib on RTE (see this post) is a form of religious oppression. He told the Irish Times"freedom of religious expression, as a right of all the faithful, is in full conformity with the UN Declaration of Human Rights."

Well now! Do we take from this, Hussein my old pet, that your paymasters in Saudi Arabia will cheerfully allow Christians to public display cribs and related paraphernalia? Or will they continue to lop off their heads as per Islamic guidance for proselytisers?

RTE spills the beans - inadvertantly

Interesting juxtaposition on this evening's News program. Priest in Limerick points out that one third of those boys who had failed to get a place in a secondary school enrollment program in (I think) the last ten years, are now dead.

Another item covered a dispute at a primary school in Dublin. Film shows school population to be about 70% African and/or Muslim. Anybody else spot the connection, and what it'll be like projecting ten years forward?

Jobs carnage: Coming along nicely

Mass redundancies at Waterford Crystal and Abbott Healthcare are just a tantalizing glimpse of what’s to come. The waste of the boom years, overseen by an incompetent government will become increasingly vivid as time goes on. But don’t worry if you’re in the public sector or in one of the competition-free ‘professions’. You can sit back and watch the disaster unfold.

And there’s no quick fix. Our international competitiveness, on which most of our wealth is based, has plummeted, and will continue to head south. To reverse the situation the country desperately needs huge numbers of brilliant graduates in science, technology and engineering, and entrepreneurs who can conceive and deliver the business . But our best and brightest, on whom we depend on for this will be otherwise engaged. Doing what?

Well, following the money, that's what. If you’re top of the class, full of drive and energy, what will you choose? A ‘respected’ occupation that pays €300k to €500k. by the time you’re in your mid-thirties, or throw yourself on the tender mercies of the competitive marketplace for an insecure job that may pay you only a tenth of that?

So the cleverest ones, unless they’re dedicated to a particular discipline, will choose medicine, law, dentistry, pharmacy or veterinary. Can't blame them, but it’s a disaster for the country. You don’t need the best and brightest in those jobs. It doesn’t take a genius to extract a tooth, plead ‘the defendant had drink taken, Your Honour’ or write ‘take as directed by your doctor’ on a packet of pills. For these jobs good enough is, well, good enough.

My friends in academia tell me that some computing and engineering courses are down to 20% of what they were five years ago. This in turn reduces the points requirements, which means a lower caliber of student, which means higher drop-out rates. A classical viscous circle. The employment boom of the last 5 to10 years has been in construction (now falling like flies), public sector, services such as manicuring and garden maintenance, and in part-time work. Virtually no growth in internationally-traded goods and services, on which our wealth depends.

Ireland is now a very expensive place from which to compete internationally. Whereas the government exhorts the rest of us to moderate costs, the high inflation that’s sending us plummeting down the international competitiveness league is almost all public sector driven. Public sector pay, electricity, public transport, local government services such as garbage collection have been the main drivers. With the collapsing dollar, we could be facing a perfect storm.

If and when this happens, the shakeout will be interesting. Regarding the ‘New Irish’ the industrious ones, mainly East Europeans, will leave. But the rest of the free loaders will remain with us, breeding prolifically, and with the hand out.

No, I'm not joking

According to the dhimmi BBC, hospital beds of Muslim patients are to be turned to face Mecca several times a day as part of changes aimed at helping patients uphold their Islamic faith. Dewsbury District Hospital in West Yorkshire will also provide Halal meals and make changes to shower facilities.

Staff at the hospital will take part in training sessions to teach them how to help patients with their faith worship. Hospital matron Catherine Briggs said she had spoken to Muslim patients about how the service could be improved. She said: "We always do our best to listen to our patients and are willing to adapt our nursing practices where possible to help patients uphold their cultural beliefs."

Nursing staff have said, off the record of course (they want to keep their jobs and their heads) that this lengthy procedure, which also includes providing fresh bathing water is causing huge workload problems and added costs. Meanwhile savage cutbacks continue to be applied to various other parts of the NHS.

You couldn't make it up.

Farmers spend own money shock!

Ireland was in turmoil today on the news that farmers were to invest €1.1 billion OF THEIR OWN MONEY in 2008. Politicians and economists reeled as the Irish Times identified huge sums going into buildings and systems.

Mr. Robin Scumbag, President of the Irish Farmers Association, pointed out that "this shows we're not the whingeing, tax-dodging, stingy, incompetent, blood-sucking parasites that everyone says we are", adding "there are limits beyond which even we stop raping and pillaging the tax-paying population".

However, he added the warning that "normal farming investment constraints apply. So if the investments don't pay off, we'll expect full and immediate compensation for any losses incurred - courtesy of the taxpayer"

USA dumbs down further...

Historians accept that the closest the US and the Soviet Union came to a nuclear war was over the stationing of Soviet missiles in Cuba in 1961. The 'Cuban Missile Crisis' has become a byword since in terms of what might have been and the art of international brinkmanship. Recently released papers reveal that nuclear war was even closer than most people feared.

You'd think then that the spokeperson for the President of the USA, given that he's frantically looking around for countries to declare war on, would be fully conversant with all the elements of this crisis.

You don't? Remember, this is GW Bush, you say?

Ok, point taken. But at a minimum, you imagine she'd have heard of it? You know, that we nearly blew up the world a few decades ago?

Afraid not. Dana Perino, the most powerful spokesperson in the world, who presents the official face of the US President's office, NEVER EVEN HEARD OF IT!

Now mind you, she was quickly able to make an excellent deduction about what it might be. The Washington Post quotes Perino "I was panicked a bit because I really don't know about . . . the Cuban Missile Crisis. It had to do with Cuba and missiles, I'm pretty sure."

Well done Dana. No flies on you girl. (She's lovely though, isn't she?)

At least Sherri Shepherd can't do too much damage.

The true meaning of Christmas......

‘Tis that time of year again, and with it we can expect the usual admonitions, administered with a sad shake of the head, to ‘remember the true meaning of Christmas’. I know the real meaning of Christmas. It’s a pagan Winter solstice feast that was ripped off by Christianity, retrospectively designated the birthday of Jesus, and became just an excuse for an orgy of spending, drinking and sex. The young ladies in the picture below provide a splendid example of what I mean.

But the Offence Industry has now gotten into the act. As 'Daisy' has pointed out in a comment to the previous post, now some people are taking offence at Nativity plays, cribs and anything that has a Christian dimension to it. As a devout agnostic, could anyone explain to me what’s offensive about these things? My offspring happily took part – with unintended hilarity – in such events, attended religious classes, were splashed with holy water and almost asphyxiated with incense. All nonsense of course - but ‘offensive’??? Beats me. But of course it’s offensive only if you want to be offended, and that brings us to the nub of the issue.

Because only one religious grouping takes offence at anything that doesn’t confirm to their twisted view of the world. This gradual chipping away at Judeo-Christian and secular practices is all part of the Master Plan. (This is not me being paranoid, check this post).

Muslims here should realise that the overwhelming majority of the population have always done things this way, it’s not doing anyone any harm, and if they don’t like they way we do it, or our traditions, then they should hightail it back to whatever hell-hole they fled from in the first place. Else we might start to get offended ourselves, and do to them what would be done to us if we tried to pull the same stunt in Saudi Arabia. Or some other Islamic cess-pit.

Idi Amin lives!

Idi Amin, ex-leader of Uganda and devout Muslim, took after the 'Prophet' in so many way. First, he's reckoned to have had over 100 children by innumerable women, and been responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths. And again like the 'Prophet', he lived and died comfortably in Saudi Arabia.

At least one of those children is displaying the same talents as dad. Faisal Wangita, 25, son of Idi (isn't he a lovely lad?) was among a mob who beat Mahir Osman, 18, to death near Camden Tube station. This splendid chap, despite previous criminal convictions for possessing an offensive weapon, theft, fraud and threatening behaviour, lived legally in the UK with his mother for over five years.

Oh dear!

For the murder referred to above he was jailed for five years - no, I don't know either why only five, maybe longer would have 'caused offence' to some victim group. Osman was stabbed 20 times, attacked with baseball bats, bottles and hammers, punched and kicked in what was a feud between rival Somali groups.

Remember your Savant's words: Somalis are the worst immigrants of all. They combine the worst of Africa - poverty and violence, with the worst of Islam (violence and poverty). Incidentally, after the Van Gogh murder in Holland, 20,000 Somalis left the country. And where did they go? To the UK, from which we can infer that a sizeable proportion are now residing happily amongst us, sharpening their knives and living on crime and welfare.

Also incidentally, UK Home Office homicide statistics for the 3 years 2003 to 2005 show that a black person was 110 times more likely to kill a white person in Britain than vice-versa during this period. Likewise an individual Asian (read Pakistani) was 20.5 times more likely. These figures were compiled before 1 black man and 3 Asians slaughtered 52 Londoners in July 2005.

"We know our rights"

Angela Ogan from Nigeria graces the pages of yesterday's media brandishing the following placard:

HAVING ARRIVED HERE ILLEGALLY
FROM A DYSTOPIAN HELL-HOLE
I'D APPRECIATE ANY CRUMBS
YOU DEIGN TO OFFER
.
Which was fair enough, I thought.
.
But wait! On closer inspection I found I had misread the placard. In fact it read:
.
WE DEMAND CANCER SERVICES
WE CAN TRUST
.
Underneath, cunningly painted over but deciphered by your eagle-eyed Savant, was "AND WE DON'T GIVE TWO FUCKS WHETHER WE TIP THE IRISH HEALTH SYSTEM OVER THE EDGE WHILE WE'RE AT IT"
.
Well, I suppose if we're stupid enough to give it to them, they're clever enough to 'demand' it. My medical colleagues assure me that when availing of our free hospital services Nigerians never fail to point out that 'we know our rights'.
.
I'll bet they do. If you know of any rights remaining to us natives let me know on a postcard.

Peak Oil: Are we all fucked?

Yes.

The great HL Mencken once said that for even the most complex, intractable problem an answer could be found that was simple, clear – and wrong. Unfortunately, in this instance the simple answer to the complex problem is right. We are all truly fucked.

Your Savant has deployed his laser-like intellect to studying the problem for some time now. While the concept of ‘peak oil’, (or Hubbert’s Peak, after Dr. Marion Hubbert who predicted it in the 1950s with stunning accuracy) was derided in some quarters, it is now accepted by virtually every responsible source.

We have passed the world’s production high point, which occurred in the middle of last year, when production was over 86 m/b/d. Since then it’s fallen to 84 m/b/d, while demand continues to increase sharply (mainly from India and China).

Think that’s serious? It is – but we’ve only scratched the surface.

Here are a few more facts to chill the spine:

World-wide discovery of oil peaked about 1968 and new discoveries – despite the hoopla you’ll see in the MSM – barely register in comparison to the rates of depletion. And not only is the amount of available oil in decline, so is the quality. This is important as lower quality oil calls for more expensive (and energy-using) processing and leads to less end product.

Consider this: Most of us today think the famous/infamous Seven Sisters (now down to four because of mergers) control the industry. But the giants of Exxon-Mobil, Shell and BP control far less than 10% of the world’s production. Who are the new owners? Our good friends are governments in such pillars of democracy as Russia, Saudi Arabia and Mexico. Sure they’ll look after us when things get tough. I'd say.

Another factor is that such producers, as their populations grow and as they get fat from oil revenues, are exporting far less, both in proportional and absolute terms. They’re keeping more and more of it for themselves and will have us all well and truly by the bollocks in short order.

Surely a small shortfall wont make much difference?

Oh, it will. It will. A prolonged shortfall between demand and supply of as little as 10 to 15 percent is enough to consign our ‘advanced’ economies to poverty. Shortfalls in production as small as 5% in the 1970s caused the price of oil to nearly quadruple. The same thing happened in California a few years ago with natural gas: a production drop of less than 5% caused prices to skyrocket by 400%.

Now put this in context: Andrew Gould, CEO of the giant oil services firm Schlumberger recently said:

An accurate average decline rate is hard to estimate, but an overall figure of 8% is not an unreasonable assumption.

Such a decline would cut global oil production by 50% in under nine years. If a 5% cut in production caused prices to triple in the 1970s, what do you think a 50% cut is going to do, especially when demand has been skyrocketing?

Nurse! Change of underwear for that gentleman please.

Ok, so we just travel less

Sorry, travel is the least of it, although, thanks to the activities of such planning luminaries as George Redmond, Liam Lawlor and Ray Burke (‘fine honest gentleman’ according to Bertie Ahearn) we have almost American-like urban sprawl which won't be countered easily, if at all.

One of the biggest problem may, surprisingly, be food. Approximately 10 calories of fossil fuels are required to produce every 1 calorie of food eaten in the West This is because food production, at every step, fertilizers, insecticides, tractors, food storage (freezing) and transport is hugely dependent on fossil fuels. And don’t forget that hundreds of millions of new gifts from God (as my mother used to describe babies) are being added to the world’s population each year.

But just about everything, plastics, computers, the list is endless, is hugely dependent on oil. If we all stopped driving it wouldn’t stave off disaster.

So is there any hope?

That's a story for another day, but basically, no. Bio fuels, wind farms etc. will only be a drop in the ocean. Nuclear power is an obvious part of the solution but this would take decades to deploy and will in any event meet only part of our requirements. Tar sands and oil shale in theory could produce enough product, but every barrel of oil so extracted could take up to three barrels of water to produce. They are low in energy content and in turn use up lots of energy in the conversion process. And of course that process would have a devastating environmental impact.

If you think we’re being swamped by the Third World now, can you imagine the dystopian nightmare that awaits us around the corner?

Why is the MSM more interested in whether Britney Spears is wearing her knickers than an existential crisis such as this? It's because the great unwashed have similar priorities. Britney's drawers and the next BB reject are what interest today's lobotomised public.

In the meantime I'm buying a gun and going on a survivalist course.

The "Scary Graph" signals disaster for the dollar

Take a look at the graph above, which measures private international capital flows into and out of the US. Although only published very recently, it’s already known as ‘the Scary Graph’.

And scary it is.

Focus on the extreme right of the graph. Or it may be more appropriate to say focus on the end of the line. Because, as of now, it IS the end of the line for US assets. Demand for them has, literally, in this case, dropped off the chart. This in turn reflects the warning issued earlier by your Savant. The causes are many, massive trade and current account deficits, unregulated financial markets of which the sub-prime fiasco is just the most egregious example, and the wars of Empire launched by the Bush regime.

The US could get away with this as long as foreigners were prepared to buy its assets. These include government securities, property, factories etc. The graph above shows that, at least for private investors, that has come to a grinding halt.

What about public investors, i.e. foreign governments? These, especially the Chinese and Japanese, are up to their arses in dollar denominated assets, and as the earlier post showed, they face a dilemma. If they sell off those assets, or eve sharply reduce their purchase of new ones, the dollar, and hence the value of those assets, will plummet even further. However, this can only last for a short time longer.

The bloated savages in Saudi Arabia and other oil-rich US client states in the Gulf will prop up the dollar for as long as is feasible, as their miserable worthless lives depend on it. But again, they’ll also be forced eventually to capitulate to these trends.

In many ways the Americans, even the ordinary working Joe, deserve little sympathy. They elected the worst President in their history and allow themselves fall for flag-waving God and country hogwash, and even after the Iraq fiasco still see little wrong with bombing the shit out of irritating foreign countries, and have been spending unearned ‘wealth’ like drunken sailors. Any people who take their information from Fox ‘News’ deserve little sympathy. (See this and this). However, almost 50% of Americans are not like that, and they’ll suffer just as much as the others.

More to the point, the rest of the world will suffer as well. The collapsing dollar means the American consumer will stop spending, and that spells major problems for many of the world’s economies, most notably ours here in Ireland. Added to a whole range of other problems that we face, it could be interesting times over the next few years.

France in flames - again

As the French suburbs predictably erupt again, the eruption of platitudinous drivel from the chattering classes erupts with similar predictability. With their tiny minds firmly closed to all alternatives, they parrot the standard explanation - it's all about discrimination and prejudice.

Before dismissing this as more PC blather, let's think about it for a moment. Remember, discrimination and prejudice keep us alive and operational. You discriminate and are prejudiced if, wearing a Celtic shirt, you decide to avoid that Rangers bar flying the Red Hand flag and Union Jack. Your prejudice tells you that a warm, as distinct from hot, welcome may be lacking. When you sense yourself being surrounded by a group of Roma children, your prejudice tells you to hold on to your wallet. When a family of itinerants wants to rent out your hotel for a wedding you discriminate against them (or would if it were legal) because you know the nine times out of ten they'll end up wrecking the place.

Your prejudice tells you you'd rather be travelling with that nice Swedish lady rather than the swivel-eyed, sweating, bearded Muslim youth beside you.

In short, we have prejudice and discrimination because we have built up over our lives a massive range of experiences, drawn conclusions from them and make judgements in our futures based on them.

To the extent that this is a factor in France is perfectly understandable. Would not any reasonable employer discriminate against African or Arab candidates based on what they see every day? That, in general, these people barely speak French, have brought over outlandish elements of their native 'cultures', detest French society, and that they'll return to those cultures when they finish work. This isn't to say that very many of those people are honest, hard-working and probably speak good French. But the problem is, and we are merrily heading down the same ruinous path in Ireland, that as agroup, Africans, and for different reasons Muslims, are far more likely to bring you trouble than natives.

As long as this is the case, people will discriminate. And all the laws in the world won't change it. But the immigration industry is in control now, so we must sit back and watch the car wreck.

Why do they do it?

Our leaders and opinion-makers may not have heard of this from the Islamic Council of Europe in 1980 "Do not integrate. Rather, concentrate Muslim presence in a particular area until you are a majority in that area, so that the institutions of the local community come to reflect Islamic structures. The education system will be Islamic, the shops will serve only halal food, there will be no advertisements showing naked or semi-naked women and so on”

Or heard of this from President Boumedienne of Algeria in 1974 ‘Soon we shall irrupt into the Northern hemisphere. And not as friends. We shall conquer by populating your territory with our children. The wombs of our women will give us victory’.

We know that our leaders are so dumb and blind to the obvious that in any responsible society they wouldn’t be allowed to breed. However, even they can't have failed to see the results of their policies. Rapidly rising Muslim populations everywhere, sharply higher reproduction rates to the extent that many European cities will have Muslim majorities within 30 years. They can't have failed to see that when a critical mass of Muslims is achieved, the very things ordered by the Islamic Council of Europe in 1980 come to pass. They surely can't have succeeded in missing the fact that we’re being subverted from within.

Yet when the Central Statistics Office announces a 70% growth rate in the Muslim population over the last four years, the only reaction was in the form of tremulous bleats of joy. The blind, deaf and brain-dead who tend our moral micro-climate have not allowed themselves to see.

Question: Why do they do it? Why do they allow our country (and Continent) be destroyed?

I can only assume that they have never heard of, or grasped in even the most tangential way, the wisdom of Edmund Burke ‘concrete human experience should serve as a more valued guide than theories, predictions, or valued hopes’.

Anyone have any hope for the future?
